The August jobs report came out Friday and it’s a bloodbath.
The US economy only added 235,000 jobs in August – the forecast was for 740,000 jobs which means it missed projections by half million!
The unemployment rate dropped just a bit to 5.2%, the Labor Department said.
The corporate media ran searing headlines and reported on the abysmal numbers.
“The August jobs report is out and it is a lot worse than thought” – MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle said on Friday.
CNN said the August jobs report was a “huge disappointment.”
“This is abysmal, this is awful, not what you want to see,” a Fox Business panelist said.

Joe Biden however said his plan is working – then blamed the abysmal jobs report on the Delta variant.
“The Biden plan is working. We’re getting results,” Biden said. “There’s no question the delta variant is why today’s job report isn’t stronger. I know people were… looking for a higher number.”
