Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
Harris tested negative for the China virus.
The Second Gentleman was supposed to accompany Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Tuesday evening to celebrate Women’s History Month.
According to Harris’ office, both Kamala and Doug Emhoff will not participate in tonight’s events “out of abundance of caution.”
“Earlier today, the Second Gentleman tested positive for Covid-19,” said Sabrina Singh, deputy press secretary for Kamala Harris. “Out of an abundance of caution, the Vice President will not participate in tonight’s event. The Vice President tested negative for Covid-19 today and will continue to test.”
