It has now been revealed that 13-year-old Ricky Siemens was the person behind the wheel of the pickup truck that caused the fatal crash.

The Mennonite boy and his 38-year-old father, Heinrich Siemens also died in the accident.  Heinrich Simens is the father of 5 children.

Ricky Siemens’ mother, Agatha Siemens posted images of her son on Facebook, like the one below, following his death:

The Daily Mail reported– After the boy’s identity was revealed, it was discovered that before Christmas, in December 2021, Ricky Siemens accidentally burned down his family’s home after leaving eggs unattended on the stove.

The photo shows the 2007 Dodge 2500 pickup driven by the 13-year-old.

The youngster was driving the family’s Dodge truck when it crossed the median onto the wrong side of the road, slamming into a bus carrying eight University of the South West golf students, with six of those golfers and their coach all killed.

Two male students were pulled from the wreckage of Tuesday’s crash alive and airlifted to hospital.

All that remains of the van carrying the golf team and coach is a shell of the vehicle.

The legal driving age in Texas, where the fatal accident took place, is 16 years old.”
