A Missouri Senator has requested that the Governor send out the National Guard and shoot the China spy balloon down.
Local Missouri news reports on today’s sightings of the China spy balloon.
Thursday afternoon, a Chinese “spy balloon” was spotted moving east over the central United States, according to the Pentagon located in the U.S. Department of Defense.
The surveillance device was also seen hovering over Montana, which is home to one of America’s three nuclear missile silo fields at Malmstorm Air Force Base, and over Kansas and Missouri as of Friday midday.
TGP reported on the balloon being spotted over the state.
Missouri Senator Nick Schroer on Twitter shared his letter to Missouri’s governor requesting that the China spy balloon be taken down to protect Missouri residents.
I hereby urge @GovParsonMO to use the Air National Guard and any other state resources necessary to bring down the #SpyBalloon and protect Missouri residents. Feel free to send the scraps back to the CCP first-class thereafter #moleg pic.twitter.com/nNbstBhDFn
