Next Musk shared the following about his first tweet directed at Twitter users who are being manipulated by the social media giant. Musk suggests that these algorithms that put tweets in front of a Twitter user may not be malicious but you may be manipulated by them.
Then Musk shared that there may be bugs in the code which is a reason why Twitter should be open source; this would make the company much more transparent and therefore will increase public trust.
Not to mention potential bugs in the code. Open source is the way to go to solve both trust and efficacy.
