Actor Johnny Depp will be getting paid more than $300 million to return to “Pirates Of The Caribbean” after a 2018 separation from the role amid abuse allegations by ex-wife Amber Heard.
A source close to Disney allegedly dropped the bombshell in an interview with Aussie outlet Poptopic.
“The deal is reportedly for Johnny Depp to return as Jack Sparrow,” the report claimed.

Depp carried the starring role in the Disney movies over the last 15 years before Disney dropped him from the sixth and final installment in the wake of 36-year-old Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed Depp claimed defamed him a domestic abuser.
According to the Australian outlet, Disney is “prepping a deal for USD$301 million deal that will include a sizable donation to a charity of Depp’s choice. The deal is reportedly for Johnny Depp to return as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and a spin-off Disney Plus series about the early life of the Captain of The Black Pearl.”
During the defamation trial, Depp had commented he “would not take another Pirates of the Caribbean franchise role for $300 million and a million alpacas.”
However, sources close to Gateway have confirmed that the actor is in talks with Disney and plans to accept the reprised role shortly.
The source, who would prefer to remain anonymous, said that Depp was excited about the chance to return to the role his fans love. He has also expressed gratitude for the fans who remained loyal despite years of bad press surrounding his alleged abuse.
Depp, who has remained mostly out of public view for the last few years, is excited to make the return, and the role of Jack Sparrow is not the only spot that Depp is eyeing.
It appears, and Gateway’s source has confirmed that Depp will be playing Gomez Addams in Tim Burton’s re-imaging of the classic television series Addams Family in the coming year.
