This is totally normal.
The CDC worked with Sesame Street in its latest PSA to get children under the age of 5 vaccinated for Covid.
Elmo, the popular red Muppet, encouraged young children to take the Covid vaccine.
Elmo’s dad ‘Louie’ said he talked to their pediatrician and learned Elmo getting vaccinated for Covid will keep him healthy and allow him to do the things he loves.
“You were super duper today, getting your COVID vaccine, Elmo,” Louie tells his Muppet son.
“There was a little pinch, but it was OK,” Elmo said.
“Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep him and his whole neighborhood safe and healthy!” he said.
