Eight Illegal Aliens Busted By Border Patrol in Fake FedEx Truck

by October 21, 2021
written by October 21, 2021

El Centro Sector Border Patrol found eight illegal aliens inside of a fake FedEx truck near Niland, Arizona on Thursday afternoon.

The truck was seized and a US citizen was arrested for transporting the foreign nationals — all of whom were adult men.

“The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m., when El Centro Sector agents observed a white delivery van near the Highway 111 immigration checkpoint near Niland, exhibiting signs consistent with human smuggling,” Customs and Border Protection said in a press release.

#CLONED ‼Things are not as they seem & our dedicated #USBP agents saw through this facade. Agents arrested a U.S. citizen & thwarted this dangerous human smuggling attempt of 8 undocumented individuals. Smugglers only see humans as cargo.#TruchaCoyote

“Agents conducted a vehicle stop and during the initial approach of the vehicle, the driver attempted to identify himself as a delivery man. After giving consent to search the cargo area, agents discovered eight undocumented individuals attempting to conceal themselves.”

The 37-year-old American driver has not been identified at this time, but will face federal charges.

The eight men were taken into custody and transported to the Highway 111 Checkpoint to be processed.

“Our agents will continue to put pressure on transnational criminal organizations who believe that their illicit activities will not have consequences,” said Chief Patrol Agent Gregory K. Bovino. “This is an example of how smugglers view the humans they smuggle for profit – as if they were nothing more than cargo.”
