Speaker McCarthy Responds to Pierre Delecto: “Romney Should Be Disappointed that Swalwell Hasn’t Resigned”

written by February 9, 2023

When Republicans start paying as much attention to serial liar Pocahontas Liz Warren or Danang Dick Blumenthal– we will thing about joining the lynch mob against George Santos.

It was quite a night for George Santos, the freshman congressman from New York State.

Pierre Delecto came after him early in the night telling him, “You do not belong here… You’re an ass.”

Santos responded to the Trump-hating RINO, “You’re a bigger assh*le.”

Mitt Romney is the only assh*le Republican to vote to impeach Donald Trump over an innocent phone call. That tells you everything.

As Kristinn reported earlier… Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) has set himself up as the arbiter of who should be a Republican and who should not. He voted to convict President Trump in his first and second impeachment trials, he refused to support fellow Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee’s reelection bid last year and now he’s going after accused serial liar freshman Rep. George Santos (R-NY).

Romney was seen berating Santos on the House floor before Biden’s State of the Union address Tuesday night. After the speech Romney trashed Santos in comments to reporters, telling them Santos is a “sick puppy. He shouldn’t have been there.”

CNN’s Melania Zonona broke the story: “CNN’s @MZanona reports Utah Republican Senator Mitt Romney— who spoke to freshman Congressman George Santos as he entered the House Chamber for tonight’s State of the Union— told the embattled GOP rep “You don’t belong here,” per a member who witnessed the exchange.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy was later asked about Mitt Romney’s attacks on George Santos. McCarthy suggested that Romney refocus his attacks.

Via Breitbart.com.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) responded to Sen. Mitt Romney’s (R-UT) comments that he was disappointed the speaker had not asked Rep. George Santos (R-NY) to resign yet.

“Romney should be disappointed that [Rep. Eric] Swalwell [(D-CA)] hasn’t resigned,” McCarthy told CNN on Wednesday when asked about the senator’s comments.

Good for Speaker McCarthy.

Notice how CNN sent out a hack reporter to ask McCarthy about Santos as if that is the top story Americans are worried about. The fake news never disappoints.
